My friend got 10 matches played in season 2 and now he is silver division 5 and not gonna play for 2 months so will he be demoted to bronze league or his "hidden elo" will decrease and his league and division will be unaffected?

He probably will, yes. However, it will be fairly easy for him to get back to silver because it doesn't drop his MMR, which is the real rating system.

Yes, league points can decay enough to drop you a tier even though losing 50 games in a row doesn't ;)

Depends on how much LP you have. You drop like... 25, or so, every 7 days after the initial 28 of not playing.
