Happy to hear it! There may be some cases where opening with scepter is still a good idea, or at least running after the negatron quickly. As reiterated thoroughly within the guide, Diana's early game doesn't fair well against harassment, making champions like Orianna, Brand, and other bursty AP carries really tough during that early laning phase.

Voted +1 Great guide. I opened with abyssal before and played Diana for like 2 weeks; didn't get the results I wanted. I never felt like I dominated. The mechanics weren't the issue, it was just that I never had enough damage output. First game I tried your build, lo and behold:
