1: stats, usually stuff like HP and what not, osme get mag resist and armor per level, not everyone does. skills, passives can get stronger with ultimates I think, etc. overall your stats change
2: magic damage is basically just a second type of damage that requires a different type of armor to get rid of, USUALLY in the form of burst damage, though it can be sustained damage.
3: the difference is that it's only valuable if you're playing AP/AD. I mean, you don't buy lichbane on vayne. the value is reliant on what you're playing. though AP items tend to be more expensive I think
4: crit chance is based on a small number, and double the damage, or with Infinity edge, do 2.5x damage. Magic based attacks cannot crit, physical based skills I believe can. They 'help' with kill shots but you can't rely on crits as your only reason to go for a kill in an unsafe situation.

1. The champion itself gains upgraded abilities, at lvl 6, 11 and 16 you can upgrade your ultimate.
Besides, your base stats (AD, health (regen), mana (regen) and armor) will increase aswell
2. You have 3 types of damage:
* Physical damage
* Magical damage
* True damage
Physical damage get's usually strengthened by attack damage and gets blocked by armor.
Magical damage get's usually strengthened by ability power and gets blocked by magic resistance.
True damage does not get strengthened with some exceptions and does not get blocked by anything.
For the comparison question:
1 attack damage ~ 2 ability power
3. An AP item grants ability power and will strengthen certain abilities.
If your abilities, as a champion, have in their description: blablablabla (+number) blablabla
If the (+number) is light green, it means it is affected by ability power.
Only when you have abilities with the light green (+number), then you will be strengthened by AP, else you will not.
An AD item grants attack damage and will strengthen your auto attacks and a minor amount of abilities.
If your abilities, as a champion, have in their description: blablablabla (+number) blablabla
If the (+number) is red-like, it means it is affected by attack damage.
You could build AD on any champ because of the strengthening auto attacks. However, since there are also a lot of champions that do not rely on AD, it is not adviced to build it.
4. Critical strikes only work on auto attacks with Gangplank as an exception.
The damage done will be increased with 100% when you crit, 150% with
Infinity Edge and 160% when you also have the mastery.

2. What does magic damage do? Is 10 magic damage equal to 10 attack damage?
3. What's the difference between an AP and AD item? Which is more valuable per point?
4. How do Critical Strike items work? Do they help in damaage delivery when you're going for a kill shot?
Thanks:)
