You're meant to kill minions with last-hits early-game, meaning you auto-attack a minion when it's about to die to be the one that kills it, and get gold for it. There are some cooldown reduction items, but I'm not sure which ones would be good on Brand. Maybe [[Morellonomicon]]?[/quote]
