Ignore everyone above (but Logarithm). You went out and did what they're mocking you for and AREN'T doing, making a guide. Oyooy is notably wrong as Shen's kit fits VERY well as a support: 1 point in Shen's Q will provide an additional method of sustain for your ADC, 1 point in Shen's E (taunt) for it's CC utility, and maxing out Shen's shield for when you dive in.

The wards comment is quite accurate; buy wards, buy wards, buy wards. You'll always be doing it, and I've only personally used CV for squishier supports who would be at risk when going out and warding. Obviously Shen doesn't run this risk.

I personally use CD runes (up to 5%) for my blue runes, and place mastery points into the 2 gold per 5 from the utility, as someone commented, gp5 is a supports best friend.

Rework what you can, keep getting better, and keep improving your guide! Don't let nay-sayers bring you down for being willing to put your ideas out there!

You know what? You've done it. You've actually made the worst Shen guide on Mobafire. This deserves a reward. +1. I'm not even joking. Congratulations.

I would suggest getting a GP5 item in there, as part of the early game build (suggest Kage's for the extra ap for Q.). Without it, late game you are really going to fall off due to, not being sufficiently geared. With the spells, it does not matter that he has a teleport, or dash. You will always need that extra uumpff to get to someone, and the more the better (flash is perferred). Keep the exhaust though, very beneficial to those 2v2 bottom lane bouts. When it comes to skills get 1 in Q and look to try to max your shield first. You are after all a meat shield. As for masteries, look more for the 9/21/0, get the extra AP in the offence tree, and it will help with harassing early game. The talents you chose in the utility tree are not nearly as beneficial, except for maybe the movement speed one.

Normally I would try and give tips to improve the guide but the idea of shen support just doesn't work. He is a top or can be a jungler.
