WOOOW this guide really works O.o

No seriously I just played support following your item recommendations and it went great. Read through the rest although I didn't really have to, yet a nice guide.

Awesome guide!

Nautilus was the first champ I bought and my favourite since.
I just had a little bit of trouble winning many with him since so many guides focus on an AP/Tanky build which I could never execute correctly.
Then I found this guide!
Started out doing the support build 'till I hit lvl 20.
Now I've got runes and I am doing awesome as a jungler following your guide. (Won my first 6 jungling matches)
I.
Love.
Your.
Guide :).
Thank you.

This build guide is very nice because the role of Nautilus is being tank and making enemy annoy.
So Nautilus should only get Health and AR MR without AD and AP items.
His CC skill is already OP without other items.

For marks I like magic pen.. but I'm fairly new so I'm not making any claims. It just seems to make his AP a little more annoying while buying the items in your support build.

This are very interesting thoughts regarding nautilus build. I found the ASPD% particularly useful in early jungle. I'm still twitching pregame settings a bit to better fit my play style, but overall you got most things right.

Here are some things i thought i might suggest anyway, for the sake of further discussion and probable improvement regarding this build (and your jungle build specifically):

[*] I've found jungle nautilus is stronger during early game, and falls a little behind during late. This does not mean he becomes useless, however, he does need a solid team to keep up with his aggressive play style. Otherwise this could mean it's safer to bet on your early game when you play in a team that could benefit from taking turrets early and steamrolling from there.

When this is the case you might be better off by prioritizing ganks in bottom lane rather than anywhere else, since it's the one lane with higher damage output during early game due to the number of champions struggling for it, and thus, the lane with higher probabilities of landing a successful gank and aiming for a turret down -this is one of the reasons why bottom lane has become so unstable lately.

However this also means you have to deal with their support, and most likely their attempts for a disengage. Therefore, getting Tenacity effects over resistances for your Masteries, should allow you to gank harder and counter their CC. Also, you will be facing their ADC more often and earlier than any other champion in the enemy team, so armor over magic resist too.

Furthermore i have found that rushing mobility boots lets you go for very strong openings when ganking, specially once you get your ultimate, since you will be knocking up, pulling, snaring and slowing them (not always in that order).

[*] Regarding the guide, I strongly suggest you edit some stuff. There is multiple grammar mistakes, and also some facts that you got wrong (for example your passive does not stun, it only snares, meaning they can't move but you wont be able to cancel any channeling spells or sorts of that like).

I still liked the guide a lot. I think it has very accurate insight as to the way nautilus functions and it has worked for me through several games, so i am up-voting.

Also, sorry for the wall of text ( i got excited over discussing nautilus since he's one of my favorite champions).

Thanks for your comments, seems my guide likes to the most part of those who tried it :) I feel happy!

Like RetroNitro said my guide is oriented to feel hard from the begining and not like if you can be countered easy and feel you weak.

I added a new section "Ganking combinations and skill sequence" to explain a little bit the mechanic of the skills, in combination with what would be a normal gameplay.

A decent guide I have to say.

You need to add a section on ganking combinations and what you abilities do. We can't call our man Naut the KING OF CC without showing them why.

agreed. naut is one of those hipster champs that is under appreciated. in the right hands he can really add to the the team comp. guide looks good. builds look good.

Nice build, first game with it my score was 8/4/23 (as jungle Nautilus). and my second game 6/1/12.

I also got some double kills, didn't expect to kill that easy. Late game no one could kill me anymore, althought I was slow I always got away, with for example 3 enemy champions chasing me.

Good Job!

Yes "Boots of Mobility" is a sweet option for almost every jungle, I use them with shaco for example. But for Nautilus I prefeer more tankiness at the end of the game...

Same happen with the Support Build, being a support also mean destroy the Wards of the enemy and in my build, as it is possible to see, I have no Vision Wards... but that doesn't mean that should not buy.

Works pretty well. I like it!
But i prefer to get "Boots of Mobility" asap. The additional speed makes ganking more easy and if the gank fails you're within a few seconds on another lane or back in the jungle.

I agree with MiTo87, i only change the boots to boots of mobility, i think in the build section you should use boots of mobility instead :)
