your build is pretty off in general. A crystalline flask is very ineffective on Xerath compared to more standard picks like boots and pots, Faeri charm and a ward, or even Doran's ring (which is really effective in the recent patch 3.8 due to the extra sustain). Also I would only suggest getting Kage's lucky pick if you are playing a support or a slow jungler. The guide needs work but i'm wouldn't vote against it yet.

Runes are wrong, masteries are wrong, guide has no structure, no coding, walls of texts, has no thought process behind it and is wayyyyyyy too short.

As Janitsu has mentioned, your mindset is wrong (and stupid). You are playing to minimize your losses, which is not the correct way to play Xerath as he has a range advantage over many casters.

First of all.. IMO your items are holding back your damage as Xerath, and Liandry's Torment is a late game item and that's why I suggest getting early Haunting Guise and leaving it there (if you want of course). And with items like Athene's Unholy Grail, Sorcerer's Shoes/ Boots and Haunting Guise, you are ready to get Rabadon's Deathcap.

And then to your masteries, runes etc.
Like you said in the guide, as long as you know how to cs, and can cs, you have nothing to worry about. Getting Greed and Wealth will hold back your damage even longer, which means that you can't burst anyone down before the late game, and only if you have good teammates. Getting seal of gold is just stupid. You only need to farm, you don't need some ***** support runes with you.

And to the lookz
Coding is important part of the guide, it makes it more desirable and easily readable, also I would suggest getting your guide spellchecked, and write I with capitalized "I", not with "i", because it looks stop IMHO.
