Unlikely. People in the US don't really give many ***** about what the NSA does, because it's all technobabble as far as they're concerned. Nor do people in the US care much about what the CIA does, since they do pretty much all of it overseas.
What's most likely is that Monday's bombings have turned media attention to Boston, and anything that's happened since in Boston isn't any different from any other week. It's just getting on the news more due to Monday's bombings.
