To make this short and to the point, I would like to change my smartcast from the alt key to the spacebar. I think this set up would work for my brain and play, I just cant figure out how to set it up. Any help would be appreciated.

As in pressing "spacebar"+"Q/W/E/R" to smartcast your skills? I don't think that's possible. You can change your key bindings in the menu by pressing esc in game and going from there, but the particular combination you're talking about probably isn't going to work.
