Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.

Winning games pre-level 30 seems to be random. Basically it has little to do with skill and almost everything to do with the blind pick outcome. Sometimes your team is stacked against theirs, othertimes it's the other way, and then maybe 20% of the time you get a fair team composition where skill comes into play.
I've been playing for maybe a month and I haven't figured out how the match up tool works yet. It seems like it's missing a lot of filters. I think it should try to match not just the average levels of players but rather the records as well. If a teams total record is 200 wins and 10 losses it shouldn't be matched up against a team that has 200 wins and 500 losses. Win percentage should be a huge modifier in matchups and it doesn't feel like it is.

Then play Draft pick? I've also consistently carried on my smurf playing with my pre-30 friends with just one champion, regardless of team comp. Skill matters.
