Skarner really needs his attack speed early on for his clears, because of his passive as well. If you WANT to run the hybrid penetration marks then you should probably take attack speed quints. The damage from hybrid penetration isn't worth the clear time by sacrificing attack speed marks.

I agree with most of these comments, you need more coding! Take a look at jhoijhoi's template for BBcoding, its adding in the pictures, lists, basically all that fancy stuff you see in top-rated guides on Mobafire. If you want, take a peek at my Skarner guide, (The link is in my signaute at the bottom of my comment) and see some examples of Coding.

Here's the The Guide you should check out before making a guide yourself. Here you have everything explained about BB Code (stuff like changing color of text, making columns, adding pictures, etc.) It takes time to learn everything, but you have to if you are taking your guide seriously.
I like item choices, but guide itself is too short and lacks information. I suggest you to check out some of the top guides here on MOBAFire so you have idea what your guide should look like. I won't downvote, nor upvote for now. I'll be waiting to see if you improve it. Good luck!

I really have no idea what BB code is. But thanks for the information. I'll try to make the guide a bit more visually appealing in some time but my schedule does not allow for frequent changes. As for the build I don't go straight tank because I play at a relatively low elo or blind/draft. People just don't know how to deal with a scary looking, tanky scorpion that will rip their entire team to shreds. So I just like doing a bit more than peeling and tanking, I want to do some damage too lol. But thanks for some good advice and I'll try to capitalize on that.

I can't vote on this at the moment for a few reasons:

• There is no BB Code whatsoever in this guide. Use this tool to your advantage! If you would like some tips, shoot me a message and I will be happy to help.
• The build is a little... awkward. Building Skarner hybrid isn't nearly as effective as building him a straight tank. I recommend using the option to have multiple builds to have one straight-tank, and the other hybrid (which is the one you have now).
• I don't particularly want to spend the time to read that entire Wall of Text to find any good/bad things about your writing, it'd be like reading a scientific journal.

You have a good start here, definitely something to build off of. Like I said, I would be more than happy to help you out with the BB Code and how to make the guide more attractive (and therefore) readable.
