You look around the Champion’s Prom before retiring to the punch bowl.
While dispensing yourself some of the noxious red fluid, you hear sniffling in the corner, as though someone had a cold. Picking up your drink, you walk over to the corner where you find not a sick man, but poor Amumu. What’s wrong, you ask, hoping to cheer up the well dressed mummy.
I’m just waiting for the announcer to declare that I am not the winner, Amumu says to you with tears in his eyes. It was like this last year too, no one is going to vote for me when there are so many other, better candidates.
You shake your head and ask him where he would get that notion from
You want to know? You really want to know? Fine, I guess ill share with you, since I don’t have anything better to do. I have no friends, and no one likes me. Why vote for me, when you can vote for someone like Jayce, who isn’t even running. I wanted to be the Prom King because I thought people might like me then, but I forgot that I need to have friends to win. I guess people will just remember me as Almost Prom King Amumu, if they remember me at all. No one would pick me up, even if I was a 260 RP skin in the sale section.
I mean, we know who is going to win already, General Wukong was just brutal in his campaign. He literally slaughtered the other contestants. He took out a giant army of dog faces, not even real dogs, and had them shout “FrankerZ” at the contestants until they went deaf, or mad, or both. You might be wondering why he didn’t kill me, and that’s because he knows I have no chance of winning. I know I’m not worth the effort, but it would have been nice to be included for once. I would place your bets on him winning for 375 RP.
It’s not even just how strong a contestant General Wukong is, it’s that everyone who has their own clique is making them vote for him. Foxfire Ahri owns both the cheerleading squads’ and the popular girls’ votes, and you’ll never guess who she’s giving them to. I guess I can understand since she wants to date General Wukong, but there is no chance I get any of their votes. I guess I’m not likeable enough for them to vote for me. Maybe for a bribe of 487 RP, you could win a vote or two from them, but I doubt it.
Then you have Sejuani who runs the football team. Don’t bother asking me how she managed to beat out the likes of Alistar and Olaf for the spot as captain. She is just naturally inclined to declare the football teams’ votes for the beefiest candidate, and I am certainly lacking in that department. I wish I had muscles like Wukong, or even muscles at all. Anyway, I don’t see anyway Sejuani would cast her votes for me, but you could take her out for a Kog Maw sized burger for 487 RP.
The geeks in the school also wont vote for me, on account of Swain making them vote for Wukong. I think he hates me personally, and it might have had to do with me crying on one of his binders and accidentally smudging his chalkboard while I was getting beat up. I told him I was sorry, but went all angry and turned into a bird. He’s decided it is his personal mission to make sure I fail now. I don’t care to win his votes, but for 440 RP, I just want to send him an apology.
I thought given my brief stint as Emumu, that I could at least count on Karthus and the Goth bunch to vote for me, but they must hate me too. I guess I offended Karthus at one point. He was singing in the shower when I happened to walk in to get changed. My bandages must have accidentally gotten caught on the door to the shower and pried it open. I tried to apologize but Karthus kept throwing skittles at me while telling me to get out. I just never do things right. I would hate me too, if I were Karthus. For another 395 RP, I would send him an apology, but I’m flat broke.

Summoner, we need your help. Garen was supposed to announce the winner of Prom King, but he got stuck in a replica cardboard bush for the school play. We need you to get up there and read the winner off while we get Garen unstuck.
She hands you the envelope before lunging off to scold Gragas for trying to spike the punch bowl. You look at the envelope without opening it before stepping on stage.
You look at the scene spread around you, all the familiar faces having fun. You continue to look until your eyes fall on Amumu, who has his head in his hands. You take a long look, until you work up the nerves to say
Hello, and I hope you are all having a good time here at the Valoran Prom, but it’s time to announce the winner of this year’s Prom King!
Your heart racing, you manage to pry open the envelope, and open the letter. The bile rises up in your throat as you see the name General Wukong written there. You know what you must do, or do you? Time feels as though it passes quickly, almost as though the sale at Riotmart is ending June 10^th , but your mind returns to your body as you say…
(Alright boys and girls, its time for you literary geniuses to step up and finish this story for me. I will be back, and if no endings are posted, I will try to post one myself, but I would love to see how you guys end this, so will you ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE?)
