one thing i also dont understand is that more often than not americans cheer when someone shoots and kills a robber, even when the robber was unarmed. yet when it comes to abortion they are suddely pro-life. thats not linear at all

Please don't characterize Americans as a whole this way. Your point about gun violence is way off base, and your point about abortion is way off base.
