Diana will be getting a new skin
IronStylus announced that Diana will be getting a new skin as they are focusing skins for champions with only 1 so far. There are some mechanical and old dates animations problems for some of these champions, so they will not be getting ones soon, but Diana will be getting one in the future few months.
Quoted:
"Next skin will be a bit more.. pretty(?) than DV. Little less dark, a little more elegant"
"I didn't put a helmet on this one, but I gave some headdress stuff to it. And yeah, I wen't more cloth."

- I'm thinking of a Battleborn Kayle sort of skin with a touch of Soraka. Something counterverse to her current darker skin
Sunbathing Leona skin from PAX east is also on the work

Xerath Changes
Arcanopulse (Q)
Xerath's Q is still a line-nuke which instantly deals damage along the entire length. However it can be charged.
Locus of Power (W)
Xerath's new basic spell, named TBD, which works like 1 pulse of Arcane Barrage with a mild slow on a short cooldown. However, it has a "bullseye" effect in the center which deals bonus damage.
Mage Chains (E)
The new "E" has all of the old range W gave to Mage Chains baked in baseline, plus its now a skillshot missile that stuns, making Xerath's targeting paradigms line up smoothly.
Arcane Barrage (R)
During the new Locus of Power, you are immobilized and your spells are free, but you drain mana over time. You can remain in R as long as your mana lasts. Your spell ranges increase dramatically.
Instead of 3 huge pulses, you have a very large number of smaller attacks that bombard the target location with aoe explosions. R has a reasonable, but high cooldown.
Ascended Form (Passive)
Xerath's passive provides early game mana regen, plus bonus spell penetration as he purchases mana items. This gives him early game sustain, allowing him to farm into a large-game mage hypercarry if left unchecked.
- Xerath is a beast already if played by the right player, so I'm actually interested to see how this turns out. Will be OP I think, but so is almost every champion on realease. They will work on balancing him I guess. Maybe this gives some more versatility to building him also, like if the passive is good, mana item builds could be legit.
Shyvana Changes
Nothing much or surprising yet, but they want to increase the duration and viability of her Dragon form. Also passive fury gain is getting reworked little along with the increased dragon form.
- I can't say much about Shyvana changes. They have not released anything specific ability changes with ratios and clear information. It's all text at the moment, but I'm looking forward to see if they could make it to the competitive scenes, doubt it, but who knows.
Nidalee will be getting a splash-art-rework.
Riot is prioritizing these reworks over the rest splash-arts atm.
- No comment to this since I don't play her :p
They are working on Xerath's visual side also and I'm really fan of him already and I'm waiting more on the lightning effect change, since they didn't have experience coder back then and the result was not as good as Riot wanted. Really nice to see older champions to come "live" again. I'll go play some Xearth now, bai bai.
I've been following the Xerath changes and there was discussion of a narrow line nuke for the stun, which I seem to recall piercing through multiple targets.
VFX have been upgraded. They are moving a little away from lightning and towards plasma themes. Lightning was not Xerath's focus but his particles prevented them from adding a real lightning mage without it being stale.
Elaborating on the ultimate from the OP, at the suggestion of a poster they've started experimenting with having the spell radius in locus start of lower and increase as you remain in it, while having a slightly lower cooldown. I quite like this idea. Know a teamfights likely to occur somewhere? Set up far away so you have all of your range when it starts. You could similarly use it to bait some engages from the enemy team if they think they have a number advantage. You can do so now, but with greater range the potential is greater. If an engage is forced while he is nearby Xerath may not be able to utilise his full range and safety without wasting time. His R also transforms his auto attacks binto an AP scaling mini nuke with a 0.5s delay which can be dragged about in a line for multiple attacks and I believe click-and-held. However this is very mana intensive.
Finally, I have a small tidbit about Sunbathing Leona. Her shield will not have Teemo's face on it.
I hope they update his particles as well, the current ones are just plain boring-looking.
