Yeahhhhhh, never duo queue with people who are significantly lower than you. Sounds good in theory "Well I'll be the best player in the game, so I'll snowball and carry!", but that doesn't count for much when EVERY PLAYER ON THE ENEMY TEAM is better than every player on your team. :( And it ****ing wrecks your MMR.
I'm 12-2 recently but I'm not going anywhere for a bit since my MMR is trash from duoing with friends who were silver and low gold that I was unable to carry X_X. After that I took a break from solo queueing on my main so I didn't go insane, and now I'm back to grinding it out. As an example of how bad my MMR was, I wasnn't first pick as a Diamond 5 in a queue with a Gold 2 being first pick, and I lost 31 points on a loss after gaining single digit per game. Hopefully it stabilizes soon <_<.
