Views: 1697 Good mid lane champions?

Let's keep this short and simple.
I am currently pretty much maining mid lane, while trying to carry the gold's finest and myself to platinum. As of now, I have 2 favorite champions there, TF and Zyra, sometimes I go Kassadin.
Today I thought it'd be cool if I enlarged that list by 1-2 champions, so I'm open to suggestions:
What mid lane champion do you think I should start playing? What champion do you think has the power to massacre the enemy team and carry my team to victory?
I prefer hard-hitting glass cannons that snipe the enemies from the backlines and rely on good positioning. This does not mean I am not open for melee champions, however, or champions that poke and go balls deep afterwards.
I am currently thinking Kennen and Lissandra as interesting options. Whatcha think?

lol regarding your first post Absolute.0
I totally agree with
They're both amazing nonetheless.
EDIT: I was referring to clashes. In early laning they're both great zoner but

All of them can deal damage in clash by consistently throwing out abilities, Highest damage rating (By my estimation therefore not necessarily accurate) is probably
Requires more positioning than the above (Medium range):

Range of abilities are shorter but damage are not to be shrug off, (Do so at your own risk) All 3 has good to great utility that helps the team,
Possibly
Idk, lots of those wouldn't match your playstyle evenly, but could still fit in.
maybe u can test
You could also try your hand at

How about Talon, I think he is pretty good in mid ^^.
His laning is just so painful =/
I think being able to play at least an AD mid would be good.
When they changed his ultimate back then, to give movement speed, I think people underestimated the power it got. Now you ain't running from him like before that. I'm actually quite glad he isn't used any more than he already is.
As for the actual thread, I enjoy if the champion has a reasonable learning curve.
