Mejais is a huge investment seeing as it's a big risk just to buy it- but it also teaches you to play more safe trying not to lose the stack(s). Everything else is solid core lux items. I'd always prefer an Hourglass over a GA on any mage. The usual thought process if you see someone with a GA is lets burn it before the fight- or if the team fight is happening just kill him last. If your team is dead, they'll pop your GA then kill you with little fight back. But with Zhonyas you get to control when you go in stasis, allowing you to setup more situational scenarios.[/quote]
