But honestly, what's wrong with liking something stereotypical? I don't really understand why people lookdown on others when they like things millions of others like too. I've also watched Fate Stay Night and Suki-tte Ii Na Yo and Hayate the Combat Butler and read countless other one shots. Is that less stereotypical? Unless you're calling me phony.[/quote]

[/quote] There's this french saying I like: "Les gouts et les couleurs ne se discutent pas." It means that we can't argue over someone's taste and favourite color. So by no means I have the right to judge your taste. It's after all something quite personal. I don't know what Cuddowls meant by what he said but: - When you watch something because everybody does while you don't give a chance to the less known anime: Stereotypical - When you watch something because you actually like it, knowing that you have checked a fair amount of other anime of different art style and genre: Personal Taste. See, what generally happens is that when someone tries to open up to anime, they start with the ones on your list, and most of the time they stay stuck there :/ What forced Cuddowls to judge your anime list like that is quite understandable from a certain point of view. Think about it: Naruto, One Piece, Bleach and Fairy Tail are known by every anime and non-anime watcher. They have been mentioned at least 100 times so far. What's the point of this thread if we keep getting the same submissions over and over again? This explains the stereotypical aspect of your list. We have reached over 100 pages and just when I hope I find a new anime worth checking in this thread, I get goddamn Naruto, which has been mentioned in every 5 pages or so. See what I mean? The thread shouldn't be narrowed to those 4 anime, otherwise we will never move forward. So I suggest you go over the previous pages and check some anime lists and recommendations. Hell, I'd even advise you right now to watch [url=http://myanimelist.net/anime/14075]Zetsuen no Tempest[/url] since I noticed you watch action/shonen anime the most.[/quote]
