I'm glad you like Angel Vivaldi. I think they could use more exposure.
I'm not that big a fan of Von Canto, unfortunately. I feel like, after the novelty of them doing a cappella wears off, they just don't have enough complexity in their main melodic lines. Plus I tend to prefer my metal with dirty vocals.
Anyway, this is the first song that really got me into metal. Before I heard this, I was listening to a bit of hard rock and nu-metal(-ish), but this was what really drew me into the harder subgenres.

That kinda' reminds me of Dark Tranquility. Inasmuch as they're both kinda' electronic fusion metal.

@Baka that first song sounds amazing. I really love instrumental stuff. Second song was a bit off my usual taste but still good.
How about this guys, metal done almost entirely by vocals?
It's a bit silly to hear a bunch of people imitate guitar riffs, but it's still pretty damn impressive when Van Canto recreates entire songs like this.
Here's a video of them live along with Gravedigger and Hansi Kursch of Blind Guardian. Probably mone of the best live performances I've ever seen.
