I'm not sure if anyone has asked this before but I'd like to be able to share my unfinished guide with someone, and I don't think there is a current option to do so.
Perhaps a specific link or a way to send out an invitation for a view?

I suppose I could take a few screenshots and copy and paste all the info into a word document but thats a bit time consuming and I'm a bit lazy =P

Hmmm, probably should have put a suggestion tag on this one for attention... =/

We may add a joint edit feature in the future. Where several people can work together on one guide. However this will be tricky as we will need to avoid race conditions where you both edit and save at the same time and overwrite each other's work.

Two possible alternatives in the mean time;

-Write your guide text in Google docs and let them in there.
-Publish your guide then immediately archive it. Send them the link. When you're done, copy and re-publish your guide to get the bump.

We will also likely add a "reset" feature in the future, as discussed in the thread linked above, that would allow you to publish your guide while it is being worked on and then reset. However this wouldn't really be much different from archive/copy/re-publish.

As I've said earlier; I would love to be able to link to unfinished builds. Being able to lock the votes on a build would also solve that problem.

Yay for reseting! After big changes to your build you should be able to reset it somehow. There should be a 1 or 2 month cooldown(can't figure out a better word for it >.>) on that though, to make sure people doesn't reset their builds all the time.

I suppose we could do something like... Provide you with a special link that "unlocks" the guide for the viewer. Attach a code onto the end of the URL that noone could ever guess, but you can provide that link with the code to your friends so they can see it. Of course if that link got out publicly then anyone could look at your build, but they still couldn't vote or comment.

You need to log in before commenting.
