League of Legends (LoL) Question: How is Quinn in the Current Meta?

How is Quinn in the Current Meta?

    Hello everybody,

I hear that everybody underrate her as a Marksman/AD Carry..
In Lane, she can trade well with help from her Q. Blinding an Enemy is good, and it deals AoE. Imo, Quinn also have an upgraded Hawkshot too.
Her Vault, seems to be really good CC, and can make a few plays out of it. And her ultimate: Tag Team is just a really strong way to escape, and chase.
    My Question for you is:
    Why does no1 play her?

She can kite decently, but has no escape. Her ultimate is pretty much useless in a team fight setting. Most other AD carries have strong late game scaling, utility or steroids to help keep them relevant in team fights. There isn't much about Quinn to make her an attractive choice at present.

If you want a strong early game with high damage output, why not play someone like Varus or Graves? If you want a good chaser, you might as well just play Vayne since she scales a lot harder into late game.

She's fairly safe in mid but she is far from gank proof in top lane. You can only E one person and it's like a ****py version of caitlyn E as an escape.

Quinn mid or top are the only things I can see working if you are insistent on playing her. She's pretty gank-proof and has nice burst as well as zoning potential, but assassins with good CC will typically eat her alive and she doesn't have a lot in terms of good matchups.

Hmm, I see what you mean.
Thanks for the reply! I will see if there are any other ADC/Marksman I could play abit more :)
I normally play AD, but I think some of the Champions are kinda boring, so I just wanted to know if Quinn is viable, since I really enjoy playing her.

Quinn is a very strong duelist, due to her having a blind, a massive attack speed and movement speed steroid, and her strong kiting potential. She is an incredibly strong splitpusher due to being able to escape when the enemy team collapses onto you, with her ultimate. She offers nearly nothing in a teamfight because her steroids come with her ultimate, which switches her to a melee form, and since you are a carry you will be incredibly squishy, so it is suicide to go into a fight like that. If you want to play Quinn effectively in the current meta, you need to avoid fighting, and you need to split push. In low elo not many people and teams have the coordination to respond to split pushing, so as long as you do not over extend and die or lose baron, you should be able to effectively fit into the current meta.

I find Quinn to be very viable lategame. A little bit of critical strike, and things to enhance your kit, and you are on the go. But in the current meta she "sucks".

But if people want to play her, by all means, do. I love playing with her. I don't really care about what's good or not, as long as I have fun I'm happy.
