It'll be tough getting as highly rated as your old Annie guide was, but I think you could do it. I'm glad you didn't just keep the old build because it was 90%, and archived it because you thought it wasn't optimal anymore for Annie. Usually I'd go more in-depth but I'm tired. So, without further ado, here's your +1.

And I do agree with the guide feeling a bit compressed, I'd add a bit more text to some sections.

Okay, I understand this guide now, thx for answering my questions. Rod of Ages is needed for land sustain because if the enemy like Orianna could poke you. Hmm...can you put a "Match-up" Section?

There is one in my old guide, but I didn't like it to much but it can help you until I make something better for this guide. Likely I will add something more like a gameplay mechanics first to know your strengths and weaknesses but as I collect more data I may be able to put in a full matchup section.

Rod of Ages has some useful health and AP benefits but if I'm doing really well and haven't built a full Rod of Ages yet then I will often sell the healing crystal for another item.

You convinced me xD, well 1 more question, should we sell the Rod of Ages in later game because its passive has no more use since Annie reach her max level.

You can't expect to burst down every possible opponent. That's why farming is the main objective for collecting gold. Yes, you can build burst and do possibly better then focusing completely on farm but you kills are not guaranteed. The only guaranteed way to earn gold is to farm.

Just generally not. You want to be able to burst down your opponents before they do anything at all.

So is it that we could build the Rod of Ages or not depends on situation?

You are going mid and you don't even mention mr glyphs?

Cloth Armor + 5x Health Potion start is important to mention if you are going against AD mid.

No, Rod of Ages isn't core item of Annie anymore. I'd much rather rush Abyssal Mask or Rabadon's Deathcap or Deathfire Grasp.

If you are burst mage why would you take Liandry's Torment?

Mejai's Soulstealer is NOT an option.

Why would you take Artificer if you don't have any kind of active items in your core?

I'd much rather guard blue buff than stack up my passive tbh.

Many mids can take Barrier now because it counters some burst champions.

G'day
Me.

Maybe it could use some ironing out. It's not to specifically the rod of ages that you want as much as it is the crystal the builds into it. Having it will keep you in lane for a long time and smart enemies know not to back off while the enemy is still going at the lane with lots of power. The old guide focused a bit more on overpowering your enemy by blasting them out of the lane but that can be impossible to do with some match ups so the sustain is a more guaranteed bet in getting the gold you need. It's more about wearing down your opponent over time and then finishing them off when they get low on health. When using the crystal I generally go around 5-0 before someone kills me mid to late game. It might be less kills but there is less risk which is a reason I changed it. I should probably iron out a section for more offensive starts depending on the matchups.

Well....but I still follow your old guide because it is really good and it helps me much and I win almost every game with Annie, well this guide is also not bad but I don't really like the Rod of Ages, your old guide said that Annie is a nuker, she doesn't have time to build up Rod of Ages and i totally agreed with that =3
