Good luck anyway, you're pretty close to getting bigger lp gains which will feel like a huge relief c:
Like I already explained recently, not sure if you saw it, people in plat 1 seem to be duo'ing a LOT right now in an attempt to get diamond. This means they always take up 4th and 5th pick and I'm near-permanently left with 1st, 2nd and 3rd pick. Talon is a counter-pick who's relatively easy to counter-pick himself if you know you're playing against him, but from 1st and 2nd pick it's almost impossible to counter-pick the enemy mid because they've rarely picked yet. From 3rd pick it's possible but still hard to counter-pick, and there's more chances of me being 1st or 2nd pick than being 3rd pick. Meaning I almost always simply call jungle at the start of champ select, and if someone else takes jungle, I pick

Recently I've been seeing chances to pick Talon, but I usually go with Swain anyway because I'm not sure if I'd still do well with Talon at this Elo after not using him for so long, and Swain always seems to counter them harder.
Anyway, I did actually decide to play Talon yesterday before going out, but...

Diamond 2 Ashe GG. High diamonds duo'ing with plats is so stupid, Riot doesn't factor in that the difference between diamond 2 and plat 1 is far from the same difference between plat 2 and gold 1.

Ashe got FB on Janna within seconds of her entering the lane, and they killed Jinx soon after too. I went either 2/2 or 3/2 against LB in lane, but trying to keep their Ashe out of the game, as you can see from my deaths, wasn't working very well, because most of their team ended up fed, even the plat 5 Nasus.
@ SirAeros: Swain is freelo at my elo because even when I get counter-picked, if I can land W on them they're still going to either die or have to go B. And Swain's blue dependency doesn't matter much when your enemies aren't smart enough to consistently deny him blue buff.

Fiddle in the middle rapes Talon. :(
Easy peasy. He only becomes a threat when he begins to max out his fear, and it won't be maxed until lvl 13, by which time you're already gonna be 8/2 or something. He won't give you much trouble because his standard combo is Terrify + Drain. Most enemies would be feared for 1-3 seconds depending at what rank his Terrify is on, be getting Drained throughout the whole fear, then have to run out of his Drain's range and no matter what his HP was on previously, it would now be full. But Talon's different. While feared, Talon takes the Drain like the man he is, then interrupts the drain when his fear is over by using Cutthroat, and kills Fiddlesticks in a single burst. What a fail. Fiddledawg, y u so squishy? - seems familiar?

Obviuosly he just started Running Freelo Stuff but since Vapora aint that smart he thinks Swain is Freelo
