Talon is good against Syndra so I'm just wondering why you didn't choose him :P
Actually... any of the mid-lane assassins that come to my head I'd say are good against Syndra.
Syndra is still trash in the current meta and very easy to outplay with both range and mobility. Hell even Twisted Fate can win lane against her.
Personally, I'd rather play Syndra than Cass surprisingly.
I don't know if I don't understand Cass.. but she's the squishiest APC I've played. She takes so much damage and whenever I try to do damage, I'm in range of getting hit.
She just dies so fast for me before I can even get my major damage off, even with a tanky AP build.
Not saying Cass is bad though nor am I saying Syndra is bad.

Nah, but Syndra can rape Talon really hard in the first few levels, a good Syndra makes it impossible for Talon to get back from the pre-4 harass, and Syndra's stun / pushback makes her impossible to get to as Swain even when she's snared, not to mention burst counters him. I figured I'd try and see how Cass does against her. I still don't know how she does considering Seju ganked me when I went all in and caused me to die to Syndra, then ganked me again later and gave Syndra another kill. :/ Most of my deaths after that were getting 1-shotted.

I've been following this tread for a little while but i never found the answer to this simple question: How does Talon fare against Karma in mid lane? I'm asking here because i couldn't find the info on your guide (which is a very good one i might add). The reason for my curiosity is that i don't find this match-up to be easy for talon and i was just asking for your point of view on the question.

That's because it's a hard matchup. And I don't really know what to do because I've only played against Karma like once.
