Why statikk on every adc?

Recently, in every "high elo" game that I spectate they build the statikk shiv on every adc? isnt phantom sometimes better?

PD is better late game once you've built more AD items, whereas early game you'll have like... 1 AD item (plus a Doran's).

You could take this to mean that games in high elo end faster/earlier, so they're okay with an "early game"-ish item like Shiv.

is better if you want to do more single target damage (dueling)

is better if you want multitarget burst damage and pushing power. It's also cheaper and builds off from and the attack speed it grants isn't too much less compared to 's attack speed.

The charge from shiv can also crit dmg and pressure teamfights well by distributing damage across the fight.

I like kills, so I build PD every time.

And "high elo" players know that objectives are more important than champions. aka pushing power is baws.

i think statikk is always a better choice, it just gives more burst for almost losing nothing on the other stats. and tbh phantom's passive isnt that great imo.
