Don't worry about them. Just focus on you. As long as you get better at the game you will climb the ladder. People don't reach Diamond in a day man.

Lol.
Forget about climbing as long as you have this attitude. You must realise that one match doesn't ****ing matter and it's not about getting "lucky" with good team, but rather being the one who carries everyone.
Speaking from experience here. Also guilty as charged.
I don't play LoL anymore.

In Platidumb, as long as only like 1 or 2 people on the enemy team are fed it's just fine. If it's 3+ then you're sort of ****ed.

Basically how I play LoL

As my roommate says, "win lane, lose game"
But yeah. It's good that you're paying attention to lanes and all, but try not to get emotionally invested in their suckage when you do so. I found that doing so usually results in me playing worse - i'm sure other people can relate.
If I helped you out, be sure to throw me a +Rep!

If people who won their lane, won the game, everyone would be diamond 1~challenger, because majority of people witness the same issues you're highlighting.
Trust me, we've all had bad games, we've all had trolls, we've all had afks, we've all had mega losing streaks and people who generally don't belong in the league we're fighting in.
But thats league of legends for you, and you just got to accept it. Even though it feels like you're getting unlucky, you need to try stay positive, spam those ranked games, eventually something will click, and you'll be able to carry out of silver/bronze/gold easily.
Platinum is where it gets tough, because you expect players to be good, but they're not as good as you hope, and platinum 1 is deemed as the Hells Hell, its horrible, so hard to carry etc...
Once you hit diamond, and proceed further on, you'll notice players still making the same mistakes bronze etc players did, so this extinguishes the hope for a "promiseland" or "elo-heaven" because there isn't one.
Tips i can give you, is play more, and try stay positive, you're still new to the game...you got plenty on time to get better.

Amazing how different the tone is here vs GD. I really appreciate the encouragement, wasn't intending to turn this into a whinefest. Started working on my ADC game in normals today, that's definitely the weak part of my game. That and I need a good top to learn.

What kind of thing do you like to do with top laners?

Thinking of learning Riven or Rumble. Don't like Ren. I used to play Jayce and Cho a lot but they don't seem so strong now.
Riven is easy, Rumble depends on matchup, Rengar is great, Jayce and Cho still good but very skillshotty

Don't jungle then. Snowball off your best lane and carry with an assassin by eliminating enemy carries while your walking meat team distracts them.
