3 Lemondogs are removed from the EU 2014 LCS Spring Season for failure to submit satisfactory paperwork.[3] A qualifier for the open 8th LCS spot with the three teams that lost in the Promotion matches (Ninjas in Pyjamas, Meet Your Makers, and SUPA HOT CREW XD) will be held.
wtf?!?!?
oh dear...
and people were being calmed down by tweets from hurqybot saying they wouldn't be in LCS. rofl.

Well it seems to be a huge misunderstanding between riot and lemondogs on the paperwork... Read posts from both on the subject, but as always riot rules!

NiP disqualified from the LCS play-in promotion series due to Zorozero forgetting to patch his tournament client to 3.15.
I'm not sure whether to be confused or impressed by how NiP managed to **** up this badly.
According to Olly, the manager of [M] (who tends to leak a lot) it was Zorozero who had the client stuck at 95% for 1 hour while updating.

anything clear on who will be last team?
SHC (Supa Hot Crew) beat MYM with 2:0 in the qualifiers and they will be the team taking LD's place. (as you could've read in the OP)
Fnatic showing good strength against Gambit, and ROC doing good against SHC! Soon next fnatic game, against Alliance who got a hard start against CW.

Overview
The European LCS begins Tuesday, May 20th. There are no new teams this time around, as all three relegation teams successfully defended their LCS spots - however, quite a few of the teams underwent some major changes. Of particular note is Gambit Gaming's loss of their mid laner Alex Ich, with other significant roster changes including Migxa's retirement after leaving SHC and Amazing's departure from the Copenhagen Wolves.
