when should you take Blue trinket

I'm noticing an overall prevalence of the yellow and red trinket. is there ever a time when the blue trinket can/should be purchased over those two?

Never. is superior to it.

Not really. lasts longer and has the same vision range as does. The only thing that is better in is that it has longer range, which isn't really needed unless you are checking for baron or dragon, which you can, then again, do with wards.

there has to be some instance when blue trinket can be useful? What's more you dont see many people taking full advantage of their yellow trinkets at least in silver

LCS shoutcaster came with an idea how to use it.Janitsu mentioned it too shortly. Here is the situation: you are loosing - they have fed assasin or heavy CC comb that you can´t facecheck. You lost vision around Baron and in jungle on the way. You want to challenge Baron. NOW you can use that blue orb to check bush on way to baron pit. But because of reset timer you need to buy him earlier.

if you are losing like this then you probably already lost a baron so you should have a timer on it. which means you can sell and buy blue trinket.
honestly they need to either remove or shorten the reselling cooldown

One person on your team buys it when you're behind and losing map control. It doesn't have to be RIGHT before they go to baron.

The cooldown time after selling a trinket doesn't allow such a strategy. So basically put, blue trinket has a hypothetical use which would never surface?
