I've a feeling that no matter how slow this thread gets, it probably won't ever fully die.
Anyway. New Behemoth album! I'm not the biggest fan of it so far, but it's been growing on me; good metal can often take multiple listens to really get into, so this isn't unexpected. Nuclear Blast released this song as the teaser for it:
Behemoth - Ora Pro Nobis LuciferAlso, I'm a really big fan of the design of the physical album cover and booklet. It's fantastically weird and artsy.
I've also been listening to Winds of Plague's 2013 album, which I've been enjoying. It's more straight up deathcore than much of what I listen to, but their symphonic aspects speak to me immediately.
Winds of Plague - Say Hello to the UndertakerMore generally, I've been trying to expand the deathcore I listen to, so I picked up a copy of Impending Doom's 2013 album Death Will Reign, since I've gotten them on Pandora every now and then and didn't dislike them. It's pretty solid, but I need to give it some more listens.
Impending Doom - Ravenous DiseaseAnd some other things. Just 'cuz.
