Can I TAS this or do I need to do this "legit"?

TAS = Tool-Assisted Speedrun. Basically abuse the **** out of savestates.
The mod, well, pretty much completely replaces the game. But it's still based on a FireRed ROM! It's also pretty much the only pokemon-related thing I actually played, since I didn't have a console growing up.
^ Also Viridian Forest becomes this. It's also dark.

Alright, that's great to hear. Considering I have owned a copy of FireRed for like 8 years
The grounds for it is to use it as a back up. In a sense, you are very entitled to one, but that's solely as an emergence as a back up, from what I understand. Like I said, don't quote me and make sure you have legal use of the game you play.
