I'm not planning to go ranked for a while, but I can give you a few tips for eventually getting better at this game which may or may not apply to you:
1. Just don't die.
2. Flame less, play more.
3. Farm. Looking at your creep score provided by Elophant focusing on farming more might just win your games. Shyvana is really good at farming and pushing, try to take advantage of this. More gold -> win.
4. Turrets win games.
5. Know when it's time to stop laning and start fighting with your team.
6. Kills aren't worth dying for.
7. A tower is worth more than a dragon.
There are a lot of great guides here on mobafire which have lots of tips which may help.
If you like you can add me and we can play some normals sometime. I'm not a good player, but perhaps I can help you get started.

As you all know, your first season can be the worst at times.
My current experience is starting to bug me. i get to be one game away from Promotion, and then riot decides to give me the worst possible team to play with.
