Also, I'd like to say that this is stil a very viable build for top lane. you need to right team comp, but you stil wreck with damage, you're just a little bit more survivable. Late game you are still a god, but you kind of have to win early with viktor anyway.
Agreed, you have to win in early game with Viktor. Obviously, Viktor gives you lot of advantages in early like your shield and rangue poke damage. Anyway, with the right team composition I think you can still be useful in late game without being fed. Thanks for your comment :) Maybe I will be adding some match-ups section in the guide.
Now, while I can't lie and say I haven't done a similar build before (I do it all the time, but that's because I'm good at Viktor and usually troll with him to keep him interesting), it makes me sad to see it in guide form.
The build contradicts itself. You're buying yellow core which is basically saying "I have to win in like 25 minutes." then also buying RoA which is a late game investment, which by the time it's fully charged, you'll be worthless as a damage dealer because of your yellow core. And while Rylais is fun as hell with Yellow core, it's another fat*** purchase delaying your actual damage, which you don't seem to actually buy with this guide. It isn't even tanky to compensate. o.O
You'll just be a ****ty slow character walking around at 3kish? health and no defenses really except Abyssal Mask, that deals next to no damage due to lack of damage in itself and lack of Mpen.
The runes and masteries are also entirely wrong for the style of build you are trying to portray, and wtf is with the coin start?
Not to be rude, but Viktor is like, literally the only champion I actually love in this game and it pains me to see people write this kind of stuff off as serious.
I use yellow core as a speed buff in teamfights, it also gives me movility in lane and a scape which is not only based on my W. Rylai is not just fun as hell, because it have synergy with Gravity Field. The funny fact is that Rylai improves all your skills in lot of ways. For example, A teamfight starts, you have enough survability with your stats, but you are not useless. 3 of your skills affects lot of area so Rylai is a nice addition to your build: Survability, Hard CC and average amount of AP. The coin start was pretty viable before his nerf, I have to change that. Used to give gold, mana regen and hp regen. A famous start in top lane but not anymore. The masteries ar not entirely wrong: Hybrid penetration gives me harass power. Everything is not late game so I need to have some kind of power in the laning phase. Armor and magic resist is needed in a top laner, under my concept at least. Also, the quintessence of movility synergies with Viktor's Q. There are lot of ways to play champions and I'm not saying this is the best way to play Viktor because, obviously, it's not. Hope you understand this comment because I understand your position but it's not completely right. Hope not to hurt you more.

Hey! Nice build ! I always like new things and builds for champions and this one looks solid as Viktor is not the best nuker due to his slow spell casting ! A nice read for sure . You can also check my guide for...support Rengar... One question though: You play him top or mid and why?
I play this build on top because of his mobility and shield advantage advantage (Q + Augment: Power), his kinda solid defensive stats and his high damage. Thanks for comment!
