1: Is my build currently used by someone else? If so, i was not aware of it: the other AP Kog builds that i see around here are focused on raw AP over on-hit AP.
2: It is called "AP Kog" guide because a) the vast majority of the damage dealt via this build is AP damage, and b) most of the items increase Kog's AP.
3: My masteries may not increase the damage output, but it synergies with the build which, as you may note, has no mana items. The mass-mana regeneration brought via the runes allows the build to focus entirely on damage-increasing items without having to spend GP on items that increase mana sustain while granting less offensive power.
4: I would suggest reading the guide further, as it explains the synergy between the items and Kog. Also, this point of yours directly contradicts your former point that my build is used by someone else.
Thank you for the feedback, though. I don't mean to come across as irritable or any such thing.
They're playing against challenger opponents. You're against bronze and low silvers.
Few points without reading the guide further:
1. You don't use your own build
2. You say you focus on on-hit damage, then why is it named AP kog guide ?
3. Your masteries don't support the build efficiently
4. Items are overall bad and don't have any synergy with each other

I do indeed focus on on-hit damage, because in my honest opinion, the damage dealt via his AA buff significantly out-scales the damage on his other abilities. If i wanted to play a mage with a high burst damage, i would not be playing Kog, who will never match a good Syndra (for example) in burst. There is, of course, a tradeoff in that the burst is weaker, but i feel that the AP AA build offers significantly higher damage late game.
As for mana... I DO sometimes get into trouble by never buying any mana items, but again, i see the rushing of Lich Bane to offer simply so much stronger of an early game.
Kog has very strong base damage on his skills and doesn't need to rush for instant additional damage but rather something(s) that allow you to forget about your mana altogether. Aiming for Chalice, tear of the goddess and Forbidden idol early makes your power spike come later however with the Athenes and morelloes to come you don't have much to worry about and you are already capped for CDR. Boots and Rylais makes escape from this point near impossible. Archeangels and a final item of choice at this point make you an untouchable artillery. At level 16 you will have nothing to worry about with a good frontline and proper positioning.
So far I've spouted all this stuff that really has nothing to do with your build but rather my personal preference towards an AP based Kog'maw but I feel your build isn't so true to an AP build but rather is fixated on the on-hit side despite having ap.
Posting lolking was counter-productive in itself as these people have played HUNDREDS of games and held this average. It's not an easy feat. One bad game can ruin your score.
dude, pointing out your kog stats doesn't change one bit the fact that Kog does NOT use energy. Making energy quints useless :p
Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Oops. That was a misclick. They're supposed to be mana regen. >_>
Thanks. :P
EDIT: Wait, no they aren't. They ARE mana regen.
EDIT 2: I found the misclick. Though, Maintained, had you read any more of the guide you would have seen that the misclick was clarified in the runes chapter.

On the contrary. These are my season four
For a point of comparison, these are the most played
While I've only played a fraction of the games as these players, i have still played a substantial number of games with
