Hi :D
I think u should add runaan as core (maybe optional?) because u can destroy enemies armor and MR in Teamfight, this is a great utility and I think it's the reason why you should pick Kayle as support.
Sorry for the bad English.

Hello salvopoppo2!
I have mostly been using the Runaan's Hurricane on AP Kayle when I go midlane with her, but it might be equally effective on support Kayle. I am going to investigate that. Thanks for the tip :)

Awesome Guide :3
What do you think of taking Mobility Boots on Kayle Supp? I take them on most supports but is the magic pen more important?
I personally only max heal if I'm in a losing lane so my ADC can stomach the harass for a bit longer. But in most cases, I max Q because of the increased slow each level. What do you think about that?
And if you max heal it makes the ancient coin compulsory but with Q, I could see more defensive Support Items Options being viable in the early game. (I take Ruby Crystal + 2 Pots for instance but that wouldn't work well if I maxed Heal.)
But yeah, other then that. Really enjoyable to read :)
Hello ExtremeKabuto :)
Thanks for the feedback! Always appreciated. Now, to your points. The Mobility Boots are a decent choice, but I believe that the Magic Pen most the the time is more useful. This is because you can get across the map in a really short time anyways, since your Divine Blessing gives movement speed. But if you really need to be EVERYWHERE at once, then by all means, get Mobility Boots.
Why I max the Divine Blessing most of the time, is because of this simple reason. To movement boost an ally, can save their *** way more than slowing ONE enemy. If you MS boost an ally, he will always run faster compared to ALL enemies. If you slow ONE enemy, he will run faster compared to ONE enemy. Pretty simple according to me... But please, tell me if you think I am an idiot^^ That is how I reason about that anyways. (Hope my ramblings make any sense -.-)
Why I take a "classic" support item instead of anything else in the beginning, is because well, otherwise I get really low gold income. You could opt for something more tanky, but I compensate in runes instead. If I was going to start with the Ruby Crystal and 2x Health Potion, I would have to go for Greater Quintessence of Gold or something alike. For now I just get my health from my Greater Quintessence of Health. I think it usually is enough.
Anyways, that was all for me this time. Hope I answered your questions.

You need 180 AP to Nashor's Tooth deal the same damage of Wit's End, including it's own bonus. Not hard to take if you prefer a more offensive build.
Also Kayle IS a useful champion in any way you build it. She has powerful protection in any way you build.
Don't want say your guide is bad or that your build don't work but when you propose a new build you must value its relevance comparing it with the other builds that this champion have and the other champions that perform the role you are proposing and a pure support Kayle has no relevance one time a mid Kayle can do an equivalent support considering your support will do the proposed items or that other full protective support like Janna or even Alistar and Zilean can do this job so much better in the most of the common cases. What let Kayle unique as a sup is a mix of utility and high constant damage and deny his damage to have more useful kill the relevance of its propose.
I don't do the math wrong I just don't consider take this items. And you can't espect deal damage as an AP mid if you don't get high feeded or if you don't pick Vel'Koz(OP). Build Kayle as a pure suporte is pratically ignore Righteous Fury and it is not wise. Since I say before, with only the Nashor's Tooth you can do a considering amount of damage leting the other slots to something more "useful" like Mikael's Blessing or something like that.
I do still think that the "pure support" Kayle is beast enough, since she has so much to give in the way of utility with her Intervention, and Divine Blessing. The movement speed boost is amazing xD.
Anyways, I pick up the Wit's End to use the Righteous Fury, instead of the Nashor's Tooth. This is because of the fact that I will not get so much ability power, and therefore Nashor's Tooth will not do to much damage. The Wit's End does not scale of ability power, but instead deals flat damage. Therefore it does more damage for this build.
What I still have the most problems with about this build is to not over-cap the cooldown reduction, while still having support-like items and remaining useful for the team.

In what build you are saying that? For example, counting with masteries, if you take Nashor's Tooth and Frost Queen's Claim instead of taking the coin, you will not break the 40% CD.
Also, the coin is a bad choice one time with Spellthief's Edge you can easily farm it gold on cd due Righteous Fury proc it each time it reach an enemy, for AA or for it damage splash, so, considering Frost Queen's Claim as the most obvious gold item for Kayle, Nashor's Tooth become the perfect item to complement the 40% cd cap one time it hardly boost your damage though Righteous Fury and give 65 AP that will boost your other abilities and utilities. You can go to Athene's Unholy Grail also, but the fact that item "fight" with Mikael's Blessing generally make it a bad choice for a support.
Hello Ragnar Fox :)
I am sorry, but you must have done the math wrong, since you will still want to get other support items like Locket of the Iron Solari.. That contains even more cooldown reduction. Also, the Nashor's Tooth does not do that much damage unless you build ability power, and I do not do that on this support build. I would love to have gotten Malady since it gave ability power, attack speed, flat magic damage on auto attacks, and even more things if I remember correctly. But that item is gone, and I will miss it Q.Q Anyways, I prefer to have the active effect from Talisman of Ascension over the active effect from Frost Queen's Claim. I know the Spellthief's Edge line gives more gold, but I just do not like the actives from it.

When I start play Kayle in mid, people blame me cause she is was a support. Today I want to play her as a support and people blame me case she is a mid lane.
Sometimes I hate this **** meta and the people who blind follow it.
Anyway, good guide +1
I have to suggest to put Nashor's Tooth as a core item, it give all she need even in a support perspective.
Can't think a motive to don't make this item on her, but I'm certain that some pro will find...
Thanks for the feedback :)
I do actually have a reason why not to pick up the Nashor's Tooth, and that is that there is a CDR cap of 40%. From the Nashor's Tooth, you will waste 20% CDR, since you will without it have 40%. That is why it is not in the final build. Otherwise it is a nice item.
