Any interest in a general support guide?
Zyra definitely needs to be higher rated than sona, perhaps even lulu :/
one of the reasons being that I've never lost a lane as zyra vs nami 8D
My root>Nami's bubble in most cases. Not to mention she can't kill plants for **** and her move speed buffs get royally screwed by the slow on my vine lashers. Apart from this, I generally have more range and my root+knockup combo is much easier to execute and harder to avoid than hers.
Oh and the fact that she runs out of mana healing before I run out of mana poking helps too.
Oh and if played well she takes a big dump on almost all melee supports :'D Okay I have very very little experience on the braum vs zyra matchup, the one game I played it braum got obliterated early game. (575 range autos and Thorn spitters are lovely vs braum :3c)
Leona takes extra care but is very doable. Unless you get smacked by a solar flare you can easily stay in range of your abilities but out of her e's range. You can also trick her in to using the blade whilst you're out of range, but you can spawn a plant at a convenient position so she gets ported where you want her to be, you can then unleash your combo and do some serious damage.
Blitz is easy cause you can use your plants as life shields and if he grabs one of your teammates you can root+knockup combo the team to provide a safe escape or a nice counterengage.
Thresh is a joke.
Ali is an annoyance but if you can stay out of his headbut range he can't really do much and he's not picked very often either so eh

Soraka and everyone else can win but zyra can obliterate that lane :P It's almost as a joke as laning vs thresh haha

I have no clue cause I've never seen it but got no clue why you'd ever play it either.
@ Zyra:
I moved her up one spot, but I think this is where she should be right now. Reasoning:
- Zyra is a more situational pick. Doesn't work that well in every teamcomp (she's primarily a disengage / counterengage champion) while someone like Lulu can fit in every teamcomp and also synergizes better with more different ADCs IMO. She just isn't a very versatile pick.
- Zyra has more clear weaknesses. She usually autopushes which means a smart jungler will definitely camp her out and abuse her squishyness. Lulu for example has more ability to survive jungle ganks or other sticky situations.
These two reasons are also the main reason why you see so little Zyra in high elo / competitive.

I don't like them at all. I think the best points in both utility and defense (

Intelligence
) are past 14 points which also means it's usually better to go the full 21 points in one tree. This is especially true after perseverance got nerfed.However, I just randomly checked a few pro players and they do seem to like 9/6/15 or 9/7/14 and 0/16/14 so I guess they work fine.
(I also don't think the gold generation is that major to prioritize it that much)
