Is annie support still viable?

Tier 1 are champs that are good usually no matter what thresh is much more like blitz now you need land hooks and make plays. All his utility and lane has been nerfed quite a bit. He is still good with his kit he is just not a top pick hes top tier 2 and still good if your a good thresh player.[/quote]

He is absolutely tier 1 still - it's just that he actually takes a lot of skill to play now. My friend last season ended in silver, and started this season in plat, because he carried all 10 of his placement games as thresh. Also, i don't think [[annie]] support is viable. I think the reason she was so strong before was because she had such ridiculously high base damages on her spells... Now, she doesn't... If you're looking for a support that deals a lot of damage, i'd suggest [[karma]]. She deals a lot of damage in the early game, and is imo the most mage-like champion you can play, while still offering support utility. If you're planning on giving her a try, and you're good at not taking free damage in lane, i'd recommend you use my rune setup: 9x [[greater mark of hybrid penetration]] 6x [[greater seal of health]] 3x [[greater seal of scaling health]] 9x [[greater glyph of ability power]] 3x [[greater quintessence of ability power]][/quote]
