Which have you played? I haven't played any, just seen the video TB made on Astebreed and it seemed pretty good.
"every now and again you come across a game that has so little emotional connection to who you are that you end up standing there, gazing at the screen and saying "I'm just pressing buttons and my life has no meaning,"" - Colin Campbell
I've tried it, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Maybe I needed to give it more time, but the Tosh's dance card is currently full. And my last date, Transistor, sort of disappointed. She's got a nice body, she's got good singing, she's a lovely artist, but the girl just doesn't have a good story.
I own One Way Heroics and Ys Origin, the former 'cuz it was like $0.87 during the last sale and the latter for reasons I don't even recall.
One Way Heroics is pretty simple, but it's easily worth a few hours of entertainment. It's a rogue-like with a scrolling map. It doesn't really have the depth of many other rogue-likes, but for the price tag I don't think it has to.
Ys Origin is a solid hack-n-slash. In the 6-ish hours I've put into it, the story has been pretty meh, but the combat's fast-paced and fun. Plot and levels are very linear so far, but I'm enjoying it. About half my playtime on the title actually came from today. I've only played one of the three playable classes, the knight, so perhaps the other two don't play the same way. And I think their plots are different, too.
(It's worth noting that I play a decent number of weird JRPGs, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt.)
I've also heard of Unholy Heights. It's a weird TD-ish game, and I'm actually halfway tempted to pick up the lowest level of the bundle for it. I don't think it's particularly deep, but it's probably worth a few hours of silliness.
I'd say that the lowest level of this bundle is totally worth picking up, because One Way Heroics by itself will justify the $1 for Steam keys. The other two tiers are a judgement call.
