well, I was gonna play ranked....but then three people called mid (including me, because I'm kind of done trusting other players to carry), the guy who wanted to ADC was gonna play tele-flash 
Varus ("aren't you gonna take Heal?" "nah, trust me, the extra mobility for split-pushing you get from Teleport is better for ADCs"), and the bans were complete **** and left a bunch of champions open I didn't feel like playing against...so I dodged
I swear to god, every time I see a Varus they have some supposedly great idea for not being terrible that usually involves horrible builds and summoner spells....oh and feeding.

the worst thing that could happen is that they tell you like 2 days after the interview that they won't take you so that it's obvious that they didn't really have to think about it.
