I remember when I first started playing League way back in October of 2010, I was still in my freshmen year of college. I continued playing the game over the next few months and I still didn't know what I was doing but that all changed one day when I walked into my friends room and he was using a Mobafire guide, and for the next several month's I started using Mobafire for it's guides and skill orders.
Then I saw a couple of guides that really stuck out, Ahri (아리) - The Fox in the Middle by LaCorpse and jhoijhoi's guide Ashes to Ashe's
And looking at those guides made me want to be a better player and maybe even get to know the people who wrote those guides, ask them questions about the game, and maybe even play a few games with them.
So long story short I joined just a little over 2 years ago but I have been using the site for almost 4. And I have seen countless people come and go, which is sad but it's also kinda of cool seeing Mobafire change over the years.
Edit I write this long post about my history then I hit post and see a ton of comments about getting banned, Well you can't ban me I have to much Ninja swag

But in seriousness, we've had a lot of up and downs through the site's history. Jet being our major troll is the thing I remember most.
We've had a few different pros come through the site too. None of their guides received well. And the pros argued a lot with the normal users too.
There's just been a lot of people cycling in and out for a long time, and we'll see who cycles in now. c:
