Position: Full-Stack PHP Developer
Type: Full Time Renewable Contract

Role Overview

This is a renewable, full time contract position for a full-stack PHP developer. You will join our small team of talented, motivated developers and help expand and maintain some of the largest gaming apps and communities built around the world’s most popular games.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other developers to develop and enhance features for our properties including websites like mobafire.com, wildriftfire.com, smitefire.com, leagueofgraphs.com, as well as new websites and apps as we expand into new games like Valorant.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in primarily PHP, HTML, SCSS, and Javascript.

Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, issues, and bottlenecks, ensuring smooth operation of applications.

Contribute to technical discussions and provide valuable insights to shape architecture and development decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ Years of experience with PHP, Javascript/Typescript, CSS, and SQL.
• Proven experience as a full-stack Developer working on sites with significant traffic and/or complexity, demonstrating expertise in both frontend and backend development.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Good knowledge of League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and/or Valorant.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience developing in Java.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous involvement in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
• Experience developing an Overwolf overlay.
• Strong knowledge of League of Legends and Valorant, either in coaching or as a high ranked player.
• Experience administrating high performance MySQL databases.
• Experience administrating complex server architecture.
• Experience working with Redis.
• North American time zone.
