This guide was worth the read. I've fallen in love with this champ but was struggling with him. If I'm not that mechanically gifted with him I should be using the control mage build more often right?

Also this makes me feel better about myself because it's really hard to hit his EQ or Ult sometimes so I thought I was just horrible at him.

EQ and ULT have slower projectiles and have a smaller hitbox. Now most champs are quite mobile so it's not rare to miss them. I think I miss an ult or two almost every game.

That's why try to use EE more if you're not comfortable with your skills.

As for what build you should go, probably control mage will suit you better. :)

This guide looks great. Since not many pros play him and streamers tend to be afraid it's great to finally have an in-depth guide on him. Idk why it took me so much time to check Mobafire, haven't used the site in years.

I wanna ask one thing - do you think it is worth it to play this champ and is he good right now?

Oh, I think the champ is great. He can punish you quite hard and quickly for making mistakes since he only needs to hit 2 abilities for damage.

Right now with the new buffs I think he is okay, I don't think he is OP but I don't think he's as bad as people make him out to be. I think with the recent changes he will jump in popularity and now that pros are probably gonna be picking him here and there in pro play he will be on people's radar more.

Nice to see you ended up making a guide :) Only feedback is that it's no longer "Luden's Tempest" but rather "Luden's Companion", and that it would be nice to see more insight on Threats/Synergies, unless you really think those are the only ones.

Thanks I haven't noticed about Luden's. I've expanded a bit on the threats and synergies but I'm in an exam season and can't really try them out. But on paper they should be accurate

Nice guide, but what's your opinion on Stormsurge rush into Shadowflame?
It's better for snowballing IMO.

If I could skip Lost Chapter component Items I would do it every game since they feel and play worse than some better AP items. But Hwei is such a mana hungry champ that you can't go without a mana item, and lost chapter is a mandatory first buy.

Maybe Tear into Stormsurge and Shadowflame could help that if you would want to play it that way.

I think next patch it is not gonna be that viable anymore since they are nerfing Stormsurge hard.
