Build Overview

Patch 26.17. Dark Harvest Teemo, built around shroom damage. Your core is Liandry's Torment, Malignance, and Shadowflame.

This build is weaker early and needs items to come online. Focus on wave control and steady farm to get Liandry's early. Keep up safe poke and collect Dark Harvest stacks, but focus less on chasing kills. Staying alive and keeping your gold coming in lets your shrooms scale into the main threat.

Use safe waves to earn your items, then rotate early for vision and objectives. You do not need to force kills: hurting enemies before Dragon or Baron can win the fight before it starts.

Runes

Use Dark Harvest, Cheap Shot, Grisly Mementos, and Ultimate Hunter.

Secondary: Absolute Focus and Gathering Storm from Sorcery. Shards: Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, and Scaling Health.

Dark Harvest adds damage against champions below 50% health and gets stronger as you collect souls. Take safe stacks, but never die for one. Shroom slows help trigger Cheap Shot. Grisly Mementos improves trinket uptime, and Ultimate Hunter lets you place shrooms more often.

Absolute Focus gives you AP while you are above 70% health. Avoid pointless trades so you stay healthy for the next fight. Gathering Storm adds more AP as the game goes on, helping your damage scale.

This page is for shroom damage and scaling, not extra attack speed from secondary runes.

Items

Start with Doran's Ring, 2 Health Potions, and a Stealth Ward.

Build Liandry's Torment first, Malignance second, and Shadowflame third. Buy Sorcerer's Shoes along the way when your recall gold fits.

After those three items, check the enemy builds. Lots of purchased magic resistance? Go Void Staff, then Rabadon's Deathcap. If they are not building MR, go Deathcap first, then Void Staff to finish the build.

Liandry adds a burn based on enemy maximum health. Malignance gives you mana and more frequent shrooms; its damaging ground also lowers MR while enemies stand in it.

Shadowflame increases magic and true damage by 20% against enemies below 40% health. The 20% is extra damage, not the health threshold. Void Staff cuts through a percentage of MR, while Deathcap boosts your total AP.

Sorcerer's Shoes are the normal damage choice. The only boot alternative here is Gluttonous Greaves for sustain: consider them only if nobody on the enemy team has Ignite and they have little other healing reduction. They trade penetration for healing; they are not the max-damage option.

Abilities

Max E first, Q second, and W last. Level R at 6, 11, and 16.

Start E at level 1, Q at level 2, E at level 3, and W at level 4. E helps you farm and trade while you work toward your shroom items.

One safe auto when the enemy walks up for a minion is enough. Do not chase a second hit into their engage range.

Q blinds basic attacks, not most abilities. Save it for champions who depend on autos or for the moment they commit to a fight. Use W and shrooms to keep your distance.

Place escape shrooms before trouble starts. Keep a charge for the fight instead of spending every shroom on the wave.

Matchups

Against melee champions, poke when they walk up for a minion, then back away. Stay outside their engage range and do not turn a free hit into a long trade.

Against ranged or high-sustain lanes, protect your health and take the farm you can safely reach. Do not force Dark Harvest stacks or keep trading just because the enemy is low. A healthy recall is better than giving away a kill.

Against tanks, keep moving and fight around your shrooms. Liandry helps against their health; check their items and prioritize Void Staff after your core when they build lots of MR.

Darius is an extreme threat: stay outside his pull and keep a shroom behind you. Against Rengar, avoid the top brushes, keep a shroom between you, and save Q for after he jumps.

Game Plan

Early game: control the wave, farm, and work toward Liandry's. Keep up damage with short, safe trades and collect Dark Harvest stacks when you can do it safely. Do not miss waves or die chasing a stack or kill. You can scale well without forcing kills.

Wave control does not mean always pushing. Keep the wave closer to you when it is unsafe to walk up. When it is safe, push it fully under their tower before recalling. Ward before pushing hard, and take a safe recall if staying would get you killed.

Once you have shrooms, use one to help clear a wave when it buys a useful recall or rotation. Do not spend all your charges farming. You still need traps for your escape route and the next objective.

Push one safe wave before leaving lane. Do not push deep when an objective is spawning soon or several enemies are missing. Your damage does nothing for the team if you arrive after the fight.

Start setting up around Dragon or Baron 45 to 60 seconds before it spawns, when your team can safely enter the area. Put shrooms at river entrances, around corners, beside walls, and on jungle paths enemies must use. Avoid the middle of a lane unless you want minions to trigger them.

Spread your shrooms across different approaches so one Sweeper is less likely to clear them all. Save one or two charges for the fight. Carry a Control Ward for objectives, and consider Oracle Lens after lane to clear enemy vision. Shrooms help with vision; they do not replace wards.

If you fall behind, farm safely and trap your own jungle entrances. Never walk alone into fog to set up. Let enemies come through your shrooms, and help your team take objectives when they are forced to back off.
