What I use Flash and Ignite
I like to take flash because of its ability to set up your skillshots and escapes.
I take ignite because with the masterie for it gives a bonus 5 AP and is great for dealing the finishing damage to someone as well as stopping certain champs from healing ie. Dr.mundo,Volibear or anyone with lifesteal.

Core items Will of the Ancients, Boots of Lucidity, Rod of Ages, Void Staff, Zhonyas Hourglass, Rabadons Deathcap. The reason I take Rod of Ages over Rylai's Crystal Scepter is because it gives the mana and hp i like but if u find yourself wanting to take Rylai's Crystal Scepter over Rod of Ages for the slow this item works very well. The reason I take Will of the Ancients is how well it stacks with Ahri's passive. The Void Staff is to reduce there tanks MR to nothing because chances are you are the AP carry. A lot of people take Sorc Boots over CDR boots but wit this build u get your MR pen from the Void Staff so they are not needed and these give that nice little kick to make your Q have a 5.64 sec CD along with the blue buff this puts ur Q on a outstanding 4 second CD and your ult on a #$ sec CD if memory serves
