why no ap
i always had some problems with ap akali
*when you got now energy left you done for. especially fighting tanks

i like this runes for early game

penetration mark, because early game you only have one skill so basic attacks are more important

armor seals, for i bit more durability

ability glyph, for extra damage,(energy glyph are also nice

movement quin, makes you stick better onto the target, and good for running away, and jump back in when youre mark is off cool-down, and good for late game too outrun almost every one,

also for early gaming,
i like attack and life steal for early gaming cause do more basic attacks then skills
and again extra movement for running and chasing

exhaust maybe one of the best spells for akali not only you slow them there armor is also reduced, use this spell for stopping ppl to chase you or your lane buddy, slowing an non target enemy, preventing them to help his lane buddy. running and chasing.
in gank use is on the hardest melee unit to grand a more successive kill on a carry

flash try using flash to a bush it can give you just the time you need for you cool down or energy to come back up, and also good for chasing and running, (handy tip when youre twilight shout is up, jump out for a burst damage, than flash back in wait en burst again or run

i like to start out with boots and healt potions, and buy fast so you can run to position as fast as possible always make a run for the second bush, so you see the enemy coming and have the first hit,
