akali can be many things, a farmer she can be, which is what this build will be built off of, early game minion farming.

Typical Hybrid runes, Armor Pen and Magic Pen, armor because Akali is very squishy, Attack Speed for destroying turrets and other champs and minions. Quins explain themselves.

In early game i enjoy not so much as going after champions but focus more so on last hits on minions, using mark of assassin to range the minions is nice, but Crescent Slash does an AOE damage. You can actually get more gold for your build if you do farm up, you can start the game 0/0/0 but have the most amount of gold in the game at that moment. Using your shroud for cover from the other champs while you farm works, just don't let them see you when its gone:).

i have never tried anything else but Flash and Ignite because ignite can give you 10 extra AP when you use it, flash is good escape because she is very squishy and dies easily. Spells that would work but maybe not the best would be exhaust, ghost, and some other things.

While in a teamfight, scavenge for the squishy carry, if you can target them down while their big guys are hitting your team, you can easily 1v1 them, and with your abilities you will be able to hunt them down, espically my favorite combo, R, W, Q, Hextech Gunblade, and repeat. But be careful for champions to fight back, its hard for akali to take those other ig carries such as Pantheon, its hard for her to 1v1 him because he can take more of a hit than she can, and give back a hit.

A very good chaser, able to chase down 1 champion with real ease at level 6+, just make sure you have shadow dance stacks up. Able to farm crowds of minions. Her extra damage she does from getting more AP does work on Turrets, so getting a lot of ap and atk dam and atk speed would be good, she is a not bad pusher, not the best, but she can do it.

Spam shadow dance to catch up to your victim, when you're close enough use your W to slow them, using Q to do more damage, if you're close enough use E but i wouldn't recommend it so much because it makes you stop and then you're away, but if you can get your combo fully on 1 guy they'll just blow up.

Never tried it, thought about it, thought, why not it could work, never done it though, i am sure it can work, just follow this build and you should be fine, but you should get doran's blade insted for the extra lifesteal you get, may not be a lot but it does something for you.
