I have yet to play a single game of Akshan but I noticed that his W will allow you to literally stay invisible forever even while moving around, so long as you stay close to a wall or bush. The plan with this build is to hard push a lane while the enemy team is somewhere else. Once you see that they have noticed your devious scheme you're gonna want to press W and chill somewhere else until they appear somewhere else again. Remember to get good vision of your surroundings since your w radius is pretty large and if you're not careful they might see you before you see them. Basically, your plan is to be a massive pain in the *** to deal with.

It's very simple my boy. Simply head to the opposite lane that you are pushing and repeat the process. If it's an ADC that's catching waves, there's a good chance you can just kill them assuming you are ahead in gold and XP. Otherwise, just take nearby jungle camps to extend your lead.
