Welcome to my first non-joke guide!

Hi, my name is Johnathan Shturumpa***bre Javaar, or John Javaar for short, and this is my first serious guide on Mobafire. This guide will teach you:
- What items to buy for Annie and item order for certain situations.
- What runes to buy.
- Skill sequence.
- Your role in a team fight.
- Different nuking strategies.
Anyways, enjoy my guide!

Runes

Magic Pen Marks
I chose this because every AP carry/Nuker needs this. It helps with early game damage.

Flat Armor Seals
You may be thinking, "Why flat armor?" Well, flat armor seals provide early game fortitude against melee and hard hitting DPS champs.

Flat Mana Regen Glyphs

Mana regen really helps throughout the game all around. It'll help you from getting mana starved too early.

Flat AP Quints

These pretty much give you a free Doran's Ring in terms of AP. Great for early game damage.

Masteries

I shouldn't need to explain this too much. 9/0/21 is basically for most basic casters such as Annie.

Skill Sequence/Nuking Strategies

Tibbers>Disintegrate>Incinerate>Molten Shield
Disintegrate is Annie's bread and butter. It allows her to last hit without auto attacking due to it refunding mana if it kills the enemy that it's casted upon. Incinerate should NEVER be used to last hit minions unless there is a humongous minion wave that's about to take down a tower. Incinerate is a waste of mana on minions and Disintegrate should be used instead for last hitting. You will mostly use Molten Shield to charge your stun up and nothing else.

Now, let's talk about Tibbers... Tibbers is your main nuking starter. It deals a ****TON of damage on impact to an enemy and is great combined with your passive's stun. Did I mention that it has a sunfire cape attached to it? Basically it does DPS to every enemie around it. DO NOT USE IT OUT OF STARTING OR USING IT IN YOUR NUKE! It's a waste of an ult and you can just use your Q to farm or W to destroy a huge minion wave. Some like to drop Tibbers at the 4 spell mark of their stun and then using Q to stun to get the maximum amount of sunfire damage out of Annie. I honestly never tried that method, but once I will, I will edit this guide on my opinion of the nuking method. Here are Annie's two different nuke combos in a more simpler manner.

Here is Annie's basic nuke combo:
*STUN* Tibbers to Disintegrate to Incinerate

Here is the max sunfire damage nuke combo:
Tibbers to *STUN* Disintegrate to Incinerate

Summoner Spells

I chose ghost and flash because you can never have enough escapes! You can also take ignite instead of ghost for a safer nuke, but I like having escapes for really dire situations.

Items

I always start with a Doran's Ring for the survivability and damage it gives you, but a mana crystal and two health pots works well too. Here is my item sequence in a simple form:

START: Doran's Ring
1st trip back: boots and Tear of the Godess
2nd trip back: Sorc Shoes/Merc Treads and start on Rabaddon's
3rd trip back: Rabaddon's and finish Archangel's or start Void staff
4th trip back: Get the item you didn't get before (Archangel's or Void Staff)
5th trip back: Buy a tank item depending on the enemy team (I usually get a banshee's veil, but they could have a fed AD carry so then Frozen Heart or Thornmail could be viable)

Notes on second trip back: If you are having trouble in lane due to CC or the whole enemy team has ALOT of CC then Merc Treads might be a better option than Sorc Boots.

Notes on 3rd and 4th trip back: If the enemy is stacking magic resist, buy Void Staff, then buy Archangel's, if not, vice versa.

Notes:
*I have found that replacing Archangel's with Rod of Ages works well too. A lot of Annie builds take RoA, but I absolutely love AA's passive of increasing your AP.

Your role in a team fight

Your role in a team fight is quite basic. Stay behind your tank, wait for the enemy to be grouped up, and then drop tibbers on all of them to stun them all and focus your Q and W on the enemy carry. If you have your full build, you should be able to take down the enemy carry with your full nuke. If your team ends up falling back and one of your teamates is getting ********ed by the enemies, use your incinerate (W) to stun them and allow you and your ally to run away.
