@ Diesel

I do not sell Kage's Lucky Pick actually at all. I hang onto it all game letting it gather more gold. Kage's Lucky Pick pays for itself completely in 21.8 minutes and pays for just the portion of the recipe that provides gold per time in 11 minutes. The longer you hold the item, the better. Upgrading it is a great idea, but only later after you are farming/ganking at a healthy clip. The option is there to upgrade it and it could go either way. I prefer to buy new items and keep the Kage's Lucky Pick instead of switching to Deathfire Grasp and delaying other items.

By the way, on any guide I ever post, I really don't ever sell items away as it is an inefficient system and I prefer to just plan ahead. All of my builds once completed only take up 6, sometimes 5, item slots. I definitely am not ridding myself of gold accumulating items unless I am using them to upgrade into something brand new.

I would love to have Molten Shield earlier, but as I mentioned before, priority is on dishing out spell damage, so Molten Shield will just have to wait. Gathering four charges for your passive is really easy with Disintegrate's mana return. You could speed it up with Molten shield at the cost of weakening your spells and losing mana. I prefer to play a pretty safe Annie until level 6 anyway. Flash and Exhaust help me out in a pickle, so Molten Shield isn't quite as necessary. Don't forget to stay flexible. If Molten Shield makes more sense in your lane, go ahead and get a point or more. It's not a bad idea, just not my preferred one if I can help it. These builds are assuming I am playing a fair to okay game. If I am ever having trouble in a game, adjustments can be made to builds to improve your standing however is needed at the time.

I hope I have clarified my reasoning on those points. If you have anything more to discuss on the matter, feel free and rate accordingly.

Only two things I see personally wrong are:

~The Kage's Pick doesn't turn into Deathfire Grasp in your item sequence, so it's just there for being there until it gets sold. But that money could go into getting Rod of Ages or something faster.

~No Molten Shield until 13? Having 1 Rank can not only help out with nerfing some damage away from you, but can help you get your Stun Spell faster without having to use too much Mana from Disintegrate or Incinerate.
