Consider switching one of these staffs for a any of these items:
Lichbane
· 80 ability power, but the passive makes up for the other 35.
· Just as much mana as the Archangel's Staff
· A crazy passive that benefits from your insane Ablity Power
· It costs 400 extra gold
· Durability
Zhonya's Hourglass
· Build's from Needlessly Large Rod, so even though you can't buy the whole item right away you can carry the rod until you do for a whooping 80 ability power.
· Does not have mana, so it makes your Archange'l staffs less effective
· 100 ability power (makes up for the ability power you're losing through this item not giving mana)
· Durability through Armor
· Insane Passive Passive!!!
· Costs the same amount of gold
Rabadon's Deathcap
· Even though the passive is unique, this item still gives the most ability power for a single item slot.
· Costs 600 more gold
· No durability boost.
Abyssal Scepter
· Very Cheap
· Flat magic pen, so it goes well with your Void Staff
· Magic Resist
· Below average ability power, but I think the math of Magic Pen takes care of that problem, effectively increasing the ability power granted by all your items.
Other considerations are all +70 ability power items like Void Staff (%MAGIC PEN), Rod of Ages (HEALTH), Rylai's Crystal Scepter (HEALTH)
stacking archangels? they do not stack sorry about that
The mana stacking passive doesn't stack but the 3% of your total mana does stack.
That aside, why take clarity when you are going to have that much mana anyway? With Veigar's passive and some mana regeneration runes, you should be able to sustain fine in lane, especially after his mana cost reductions. Personally, I don't believe Veigar needs an Archangel's Staff, let alone three. Okay guide, but it could use some pictures and color. Check out jhoijhoi's guide on how to make a guide, it's really helpful.
