If he lands a stun combo on you, you're probably dead. Taking Coin is preferred here.

Zyra

Major

She out-ranges and outpokes Janna. Approaching her to W can provoke her to all-in you. Have Flash ready. Rush Mikael's.

Sona

Major

Sona is super efficient against Janna because Janna can only shield one Champion, but Sona's Q hits two. You have to all-in her to win, as her W allows her and her ADC to remain healthy.

Lulu

Major

Her poke out-damages Janna's and she can shield Janna's poke. Her all-in level 2 is nuts if she takes ignite.

Nami

Major

Similar to Sona, her Ebb and Flow (W) can heal/poke two champions whereas Janna only shields/pokes one. She has significant mana problems early game. Winning the lane requires short, quick pokes as opposed to extended skirmishes where her W gets the most value.

Bard

Major

Similar to Lulu, his level 2 with ignite is nuts and he slightly out-pokes Janna. Janna has an easier time against Bard because his healing ability takes some time to charge as well as consumes a significant portion of his mana in the early game.

Soraka

Major

This champion is so stupid. Sure, Janna can avoid her Q with ease, but your ADC sure as hell can't. Avoid the migraine altogether and take Coin to play passively. Executioner's Calling is your friend.

Alistar

Even

You can harass him easily when his combo is down, but his auto-heal is a nuisance. If the combo lands on you or your ADC because you didn't interrupt with Q, you probably lose that trade. You can take Frost or Coin here.

Karma

Even

Definitively a skill-based MU. You're trying to dodge her Q while moving in and out of your W range. If she's good, she'll just mitigate your W with her E. Be careful of her all-in with W.

Braum

Even

Braum's pretty even with Janna because of his Q harass and stacking passive. His ultimate also interrupts Janna's making it hard to channel when E is on CD. His shield also mitigates our poke.

Pyke

Minor

If you interrupt his stun with your Q, it should be an easy lane. Q is very telegraphed. Keep the bushes warded and you'll probably come out ahead.

Nautilus

Minor

Can be scary when hooked. Stay behind your minions. Autoattack harass is slightly faster than W, as he can Q you while you're casting.

Morgana

Minor

If the Morgana is smart, she can Black Shield herself while ulting, and you don't get to do anything about it. Rushing Mikael's here is essential for her Q.

Zilean

Minor

No one really plays this guy, but when they do, they play him either super mediocre or insanely well. Maxing E and taking Coin is ideal here. Mikael's will mitigate his stun.
